Based on your interest, the UN Golf Club will be organising a golf Safari to one of Europe's most premier golf hotspots, the Algarve in Portugal! We are currently looking at the week from Wednesday 19-26 October 2022. At this stage, we are seeking expressions of interest as to know whether to put this exciting trip together.

Please note that numbers will be strictly limited to 16.

The UNGC will arrange accommodation (including breakfast) and golf tee times. The venue we have chosen is the Albufeira Pestana Viking Beach and Golf Resort close to Porches about 45 min drive from Faro Airport.

We will plan on having golf scheduled for five days, with some small incentive prizes, and a rest day, though golf will be available on the rest day for those who wish to play.

The golf courses will all be approximately 20-40 min drive from the resort.  We will include a couple of the very famous and prestigious courses at Villamoura such as the Dom Pedro Victoria Course, and/or the Amendoeira Faldo & O'Connor Courses.

Getting to and from the Algarve as well as to the golf courses and other local transport will be left to participants, we suggest you pal up with someone and share a rental car for the week. A small car, suitable for two people for the week, can be rented from as little as EUR 100.

There are direct flights to Faro every Wednesday and daily flights to Lisbon.  Airfares depend on your dates, destination and baggage allowance.
